Johnson & Johnson has announced the appointment of Shawn Millerick as the new President of Vision Care, Americas, effective November 11, 2024. In his new role, Mr. Millerick will oversee the strategy and growth of Johnson & Johnson’s Vision Care portfolio, including the iconic Acuvue contact lens family, across North America and Latin America (LATAM).
Mr. Millerick’s responsibilities will include:
• Defining strategic goals to strengthen the Vision Care business.
• Collaborating with customers to enhance patient and eye care professional outcomes.
• Accelerating digital transformation to optimize the company’s presence in the vision care market.

In addition to Millerick’s appointment, Erin Powers has assumed expanded responsibilities as Vice President of North America, Surgical Vision. Powers will now lead the Surgical Vision business for both the United States and Canada, reflecting Johnson & Johnson’s commitment to strategic leadership across its eye care divisions.
