VSY Biotechnology to Introduce Enova Maestro® IOL at ESCRS Winter Meeting

February 14, 2024

VSY Biotechnology GmbH, a leading biotechnology company, is readying to launch its latest ophthalmic product, the Enova Maestro® - Sinusoidal Trifocal Toric Preloaded IOL, at the upcoming ESCRS Winter Meeting. The event is scheduled to take place from February 15 to 18, 2024, at the Congress Centre Messe Frankfurt in Germany.

Built upon 100% glistening-free hydrophobic acrylic material, Enova Maestro® is designed to provide vision enhancement across far, intermediate, and near distances in various lighting conditions. With a maximum light transmission to the retina of 93.5%, this new intraocular lens aims to offer improved visual outcomes for patients.

Robin Ege, Global Product Manager at VSY Biotechnology, stated, "Enova Maestro® offers vision correction capabilities for different distances and lighting conditions, with its glistening-free material contributing to its reliability and performance."

An innovative aspect of Enova Maestro® is its incorporation of Sinusoidal Vision Technology® (SVT®), a unique optical design intended to reduce halo and glare, thereby enhancing the visual experience. Andreas Kuehnel, Board Member of VSY Biotechnology, highlighted, "VSY Biotechnology’s patented SVT® aims to provide a smoother visual transition between distances compared to traditional lenses, improving patient satisfaction."

In preparation for the Enova Maestro® launch, VSY Biotechnology will host a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) dinner on February 15, featuring a presentation by Dr. Florian Kretz. The discussion will focus on the technical aspects and potential benefits of the Enova Maestro®, offering attendees valuable insights into its design and performance.

VSY Biotechnology invites attendees of the ESCRS Winter Meeting to visit their booth at C30 to learn more about the Enova Maestro® - Sinusoidal Trifocal Toric Preloaded IOL and its implications for ophthalmic care.
