an ophthalmologist who was the first to raise the alarm about COVID-19.
Ophthalmologists applied for the contest with their articles until September 18, 2020, from the OSA page. (https://www.vsybiotechnology.com/starawards/) on the VSY Biotechnology website. Their articles must have been published in a scientific journal as of January 2019. The OSA team received applications from all around the world. Three ophthalmologists are awarded ranks based upon their scientific research’s usefulness for the clinical ophthalmologist, novelty, and readability of the paper.
First place winner: Dr. Rupesh Agrawal – Singapore
Clinical study title: Collaborative

Second place winner: Dr. David Lockington – UK
Clinical study title: Modelling Floppy Iris Syndrome and the Impact of Pupil Size and Ring Devices on Iris Displacement.
Third place winner: Dr. Dasha Elena Nelidova – Switzerland
Clinical study title: Restoring Light Sensitivity Using Tunable Near-Infrared Sensors.
