Sunday, September 18 - The third day of the ESCRS Congress will be marked with several important satellite symposia, at which global eyecare companies will introduce case studies and clinical results of their newly-launched ophthalmic products with clinical experts and ophthalmologists.

Satellite Symposia will kick off at 09:30 to last until 14:00. Rayner, Johnson & Johnson Vision, VSY Biotechnology, Ziemer, Alcon, IRIDEX, Haag-Streit, Zeiss, TELEON, Bausch + Lomb, and Medicontur are among the companies to hold scientific symposiums. Details can be found here

Today’s main symposium scheduled between 11:00-13:00 is going to be about “High Volume Cataract Surgery”. After the lunch break, two other symposia will be conducted both by the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (JCRS) and the International Intra-Ocular Implant Club (IIIC).

There will be two different workshops on visual optics, where participants will have the chance to learn more about visual behavior, ocular biometrics, IOL optics, and calculation. We highly recommend these two workshops to the participants.

Furthermore, young ophthalmologists programme, instructional courses, and ESONT courses on various topics will continue, enabling participants from young ophthalmologists to experienced professionals to gain insight and learn different techniques about the latest developments in refractive and cataract surgery.

A Practice Management Masterclass will be held to find answers to “how ophthalmologists can optimise the patient experience”. Meanwhile, Wetlabs and the exhibition will be open to participants from 08:00-18:00.

Free Paper Sessions and Presented Poster Sessions are scheduled to be held in three different sessions, details of which can be found from the online programme schedule
