Haag-Streit has officially launched the METIS 900, a cutting-edge ophthalmic surgical microscope designed for precision and comfort in the operating room. Following successful previews at major ophthalmology events, this advanced microscope aims to enhance surgical visualization and efficiency.

The METIS 900 was unveiled earlier this week, marking a significant milestone for Haag-Streit in surgical visualization technology. This microscope was previously showcased at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) conference, Hawaiian Eye, and Telling It Like It Is meetings.

       • Sustainable LED Illumination – Provides long-lasting, energy-efficient lighting to ensure optimal visibility during procedures.

       • Assistant Microscope – Enables training and collaboration in surgical settings.

       • Upcoming 3D Heads-Up Display – Expected later this year, this feature will allow surgeons to operate while viewing a screen instead of looking through the microscope, enhancing comfort and workflow.
