Treehouse Eyes Marks Five-Year Anniversary, Is on Target to Reach 60 Myopia Treatment Locations by End of 2021

The team behind Treehouse Eyes includes leading optometrists and ophthalmologists involved in research and clinical practice, prescribing the treatments that form the basis of the Treehouse Vision System for over twenty years.

Between them, these doctors have helped thousands of children by improving their vision today and reducing their risks of serious eye diseases associated with higher myopia.

Treehouse Eyes has grown across the U.S., with eye doctors focused on treating childhood myopia to give children options their parents never had. In addition to clinical excellence, Treehouse Eyes practices have a commitment to be a nurturing and positive space for parents and their children.

As part of their five year anniversary celebration, Treehouse Eyes is marking its five-year anniversary and the group, which specializes in myopia care and control for children, is on track to reach 60 locations by the end of this year, the company said.

Currently consisting of 47 locations in 18 states, Treehouse Eyes, now the largest provider of pediatric myopia treatment in the U.S., reports that it has started treatment with thousands of children since the group’s inception. “It is incredibly gratifying to celebrate five years since we saw the first patients in our flagship D.C. area centers,” said Dr. Gary Gerber, co-founder of Treehouse Eyes.

“We knew so many kids needed help, and to reflect on going from opening our first two centers to now having almost 50 around the country is incredibly humbling. To know that the scalable services we are providing to more and more practices is what is making the profound difference for so many kids, is what continues to drive our team.” Gerber continued. “I’m so grateful we have amazing doctor partners and have built a best-in-class organization ready to grow even faster.”

Matt Oerding, CEO and co-founder, added, “While the number of locations and growth are fantastic, what excites me is the leadership position we have established and the amazing team Treehouse Eyes has in place. We have built a brand that delivers,by far, the best training, marketing and execution in the industry, and continually innovate new ideas to reach even more kids in need. We now have a team of 16 (and growing) dedicated professionals all helping us realize our dream of giving even more kids better vision for life.”

“Most new businesses never reach this milestone of five years in business, and very few demonstrate the growth that Treehouse Eyes has delivered” commented Don Fox, CEO of Firehouse Subs and Treehouse Eyes Board member.

“There is still such a massive need for this treatment, and I’m excited about the continued growth prospects of the company as it continues to scale and become the brand standard for exemplary myopia care services,” said Fox.

Dean Butler, founder of LensCrafters and Treehouse Eyes Advisory Board member noted, “What’s unique about Treehouse Eyes is that they are unquestionably the right company, with the right people, at the right time.

What they’ve built in only five years is solidly sustainable and poised for explosive growth. They continue to carefully vet select doctor partners who are as dedicated as they are for this important category of care.”
